Volunteering
Avon Township depends on volunteers to keep our Food Pantry
running. If you have an interest in volunteering, we ask that
you call us at 847 546 1446 ext 308 or contact us by clicking here. With our diversified hours in the
Food Pantry, there are ample opportunities. In the summer
when our Food Pantry Production Garden is growing, we use
volunteers to maintain and harvest our gardens. We know we
cannot be who we are without the community volunteers.
Community
Service
Avon Township has opportunities for many forms of Community
Service. Those residents that have "court ordered" Community
Service hours to complete must coordinate those
requirements with the Township Clerk by calling (847) 546 1446
extension 304.
All other forms of Community Service (school, church, other
organizations) can stop by the township, complete a volunteer
application and arrange for a Food Pantry Orientation by the Food
Pantry Coordinator.
